Dear Cubberley Class of 1971 Classmates:
It’s time to make your plans to attend our Cubberley Class of 1971 55th year reunion, October 9 – 11, 2026. We hope you can attend our 55th year reunion and you are welcome to bring a guest. Our anniversary represents an important milestone in all our lives. Our reunion will allow us an opportunity to celebrate deep friendships, rekindle old connections, and share experiences since we graduated.
This weekend will be like past reunions, where we will have three events, a Friday night welcome event, a Saturday night main event, and a Sunday afternoon picnic, and you are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all three events, to visit with classmates and catch up with old friends. The Saturday night event typically has a larger attendance than the Friday or Sunday events. We welcome those who graduated with us, those who graduated early, and those classmates who attended Cubberley for part of their high school years. We will have name tags to help recognize each other.
Friday night, October 9th, we will have an informal no-host get-together, at O'Malley's Sports Pub in Mountain View. There will be tables set aside for our group. Food and drinks are on your own. This gathering will start at 5 PM.
Saturday night, October 10th, from 5 – 9 pm we will have our main reunion event in the ballroom at the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Mountain View, and we will have access to an outdoor area with firepits. There will be a buffet dinner, a no-host bar, and plenty of time for visiting classmates before, during, and after dinner. The cost for the Saturday night event is $130 per person for classmates and guests. As in the past we will have a "friendship fund" for classmates who may need financial assistance to attend our reunion. If you are a classmate who could use financial support, contact one of our steering committee members listed below. We need to give the Hyatt a final attendance no later than September 19, three weeks before the event.
The Hyatt Centric Hotel has offered us a group discount for rooms of $189+ (normally $245+ per night) for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. The cut-off date for the discounted rates is September 25th. For hotel guests, overnight parking is $12 per night. There is no parking fee for those attending just the Saturday night reunion event.

Sunday, October 11th, we will have a midday picnic at Mitchell Park, at an area which is close to parking. This will be a no-host event, classmates may bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverage, and there will be a barbeque grill set up. The time will be 11-3 PM.

We are trying to find missing classmates and welcome any help you can offer to connect to classmates that you are in contact with.
